As you may know, my brother passed away less than a year ago, leaving behind a partner and five children. His second oldest boy is missing him, and it was the first father’s day the kids had without him. His second oldest boy is missing him and wants to do something special.
He’s an awesome kid and always tries to give to others in any way he can. He decided he wanted to turn Father’s Day into Uncle’s Day and make a card for me. This has been heartwarming, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of his decision.
If it makes him happier and helps his hurting just a little bit, I want to do anything I can to help him.
For my personal challenges, I am looking to build a second brain. I’ve seen the concept being talked about on Twitter and YouTube, and it wasn’t until I read an email I subscribed to that I thought it made the most sense. I will start to research the concept myself and see how it works for me, and then share my experience with you, my fellow readers. Who knows, maybe it will become a YouTube video. 🤷♂️
I’ve also been meditating for the past week and plan on continuing this trend. Meditation might seem like a hocus pocus habit that amounts to nothing, but it genuinely helps me to ground myself throughout the day. It’s worth a try, even if you only have a 2-minutes to spend each day.
I’m also looking at reviving the weekly schedule to be released every Thursday. Let’s see how long it lasts this time around. 😅
