I know that pun was super cheesy and lame but if that’s what it takes to get the point across, then so be it. Sales hooks are a huge part of finding new opportunities so if yours stink, you’re gonna know it pretty quick. There are a couple of rules I like to use when working on sales hooks
  1. Keep it short- people don’t have time for your whole life story so get to the point.
  2. Engage- ask a question, reference their work, do something to get them to respond.
  3. Push the button- the pain point button. Actually, know what they care about and tell them how you’ll fix it.
Getting people attention can be a hard thing, but its one of the most important things in sales so make sure you get it right.
