It’s not dead. In fact, thanks to the spam filter, robocalls, and do-not-call lists, good old fashioned door-knocking is making a comeback—especially for:
  • Products that lend themselves to awesome demonstrations
  • Offerings that generate a “high lifetime customer value” (like cable or wifi, pest control, security systems, real estate, etc.)
So, how do you do it? The most important thing to do is get the four W’s out of the way immediately. That’s:
  • Who are you?
  • Where are you from?
  • Why are you on my porch?
  • When will you leave?
