Winter is here! Time to get outside and make QSO’s!
Delaware Beach Trip
Today I am heading over to Bethany Beach, Delaware to do some fun portable radio beach activation’s. Two beaches that I will be hanging out at are Parks on the Air (POTA) activation sites:

I’m sure they both qualify for Beaches on the Air (BOTA) activation’s as well.
I plan on taking my Elecraft KX3 radio and for simplicity, my Alexloop with tripod. I also will be bringing my Raspberry Pi3 with FT8 and JS8Call software. Using RSP3 in a headless operation makes for pretty lightweight digital setup. Hopefully there will be some sun so I can use my solar panel to recharge the battery as I operate.

I’m not sure on times, but will announce all the details each day on my Twitter account. This is a two day trip and plan to head home tomorrow afternoon.
