Hi friends!
It’s been a relatively busy week hustling. I’ve personally been quite pleased with the content I have been sharing with folks on the productivity & life advice front - and now I’ve been doubling my efforts to start sharing more content on the fitness side of things.
Presenting my ‘new’ instagram channel @thefitsingaporean - I’ve repurposed one of my existing instagram handles to start focusing solely on health and fitness! Shameless plug here - if you’d like a daily dose of fitness insights - please consider following me!
With so much information out there, I aim to only put out the most accurate, and practical advice to help demystify health and fitness myths!
With that, I’ll leave everyone to enjoy their weekend. Till next week!

My Favourite Things This Week
People can’t stick to diets because they are not sustainable in the long run. Think about it - the diet industry wants us to cut calories, but the food industry wants us to eat more! With so many different ‘crash / fad diets’ being marketed, even a person with the strongest of intents to follow through with the right diet could be misled. Learning more about nutrition, re-examining our relationship with food and finding a good balanced diet that works for you in the long run (so it doesn’t even feel like a diet) will help you to be more aware of your health and nutrition. It’s what I’ve been telling folks nowadays, and this is quite in line with the 80/20 diet!
Mobile App - Sorted (for IOS)
For those geeky productivity nerds out there, there is a new scheduling / to-do list app called ‘Sorted’ I came across. There are many thoughtful features built into this - so far I’ve been using this on the free trial mode, but am pretty sure I will end up purchasing the app. I’ve always been searching for a good note-taking / organizer app, and this one ticks all the boxes! I love the way the app incorporates capturing and organizing information together with scheduling tasks. It’s simple to use, boosts my productivity (so I think) and it’s aesthetically pleasing - I’m impressed at the amount of thought and detail that has gone into making this app - the workflow makes it such a joy to use! The only thing lacking is synchronization with Google Calendar (and sorry, it’s only built for IOS folks!)
Check it out here! For those who are interested, you can try the app for 14 days for free to see if you enjoy using it :)
Came across this quiz while doing some searches on how to strengthen my social media game. This quiz helps folks who are interested in the entrepreneurial space to determine what their core / secondary strengths. Think of this as the Love Languages / True Colours quiz for Entrepreneurship.
By living from our core entrepreneurial archetype, we can tap into our true gifts and strengths, creating our lives, business models, and success directly from the most potent center of who we actually are.
My Entrepreneurial Archetype is dominantly a ’Coach’ (which a reflective of Hufflepuff traits (WHAT?!)) and my secondary Archetype is more of an ’Entrepreneur’ (reflective of Slytherin traits (YAS.), and I honestly found it to be pretty accurate.
If you’re interested, here are the 4 different types of Archetypes as well! Give the quiz a try, it could give you new insights about yourself - plus it’s free!
Cool Stuff My Friends Are Doing
I’ve always loved eating good sourdough bread (it’s the healthier bread choice friends) - and I’ve a really fussy palette . So I’m lucky to have seen that Pamela (a friend I’ve made from previous snowboarding trips) had started baking Sourdough bread!

Introducing her baking channel @pammiebakes. Pam specializes in baking Sourdough bread and muffins. I can attest to the fact that they taste as good as they look - after all, I’ve already polished off 4 loaves and 6 sourdough muffins that I ordered!
Pam’s interest in baking started when she attended a sourdough workshop with her boyfriend last year. Since then she has been baking intermittently at home, producing sourdough for their own consumption. One of their friends loved their bread so much that he started requesting for sourdough loaves every week! With the Circuit Breaker, there was only more time to bake - thus Pammiebakes was born!
Pam’s breads don’t only taste great, they also look REALLY pretty! She does the scoring by herself (getting inspiration from the instagram baking community), and is continuing to experiment with different designs when she bakes! This experimentation also applies to the different flavours and flours she is trying out. Each bread turns out a little different due to these nuances, but they each have their own unique flavour coming out.
The menu currently has 5 flavours - Country, Rosemary, Malted Wheat, Parmesan and Seeded. I personally LOVE the Malted Wheat loaf (I’ve had 3!) and Pam is exploring more flavours like black garlic, cinnamon and raisin, cranberry and walnut etc. She has made other off-menu orders like Butterfly Pea Sourdough (it’s violet inside the bread!) and Matcha when requested. Special orders are allowed, if you don’t mind your order as an experimental bake!
If you’re interested in getting some yummy (& pretty) sourdough breads, follow Pam (@pammiebakes) on Instagram and DM her your orders! The menu & prices are on her Instagram page, so do follow her! It’s really therapeutic looking at the bread designs! Since Phase 2 has commenced, delivery and collections will only be on Saturdays - so get your orders in quick!
