Important Updates
It looks like it will be a very hot week. I hope you all stay safe. 
As always, here is all of the up-to-date information and useful links for you.

Speaker Announcements: 
SAM STRICKLAND - Sam Strickland began his teaching career as a history teacher in Bedfordshire, having completed his PGCE in secondary history at the University of Cambridge. His career quickly accelerated, becoming a head of history and classics. He then moved on to become a lead professional and worked for a SCITT Consortium. Sam became an assistant head where he had responsibility for the sixth form and led a post 16 consortium arrangement. He then served as a vice principal, where he directly oversaw student care, the sixth form, curriculum and behaviour and served as the safeguarding lead for an entire trust. Sam also served as a lead facilitator for NPQSL. In 2015 he served as an associate principal, with GCSE and A Level results under his tenure, receiving commendation from the DfE, Nick Gibb and the SSAT. Sam is now the principal of a large all-through school and has helped to guide its GCSE results from the bottom 20% nationally to the top 20% and A Level outcomes to the top 5% nationally.
CHRIS DYSON - An experienced Outstanding Head Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in Challenging Schools with huge success. Chris has been the recipient of a Teaching Award Winner, a TES Award, Hero of Yorkshire Award and a National Business in the Community Winner. 
Chris is also a proud fellow of the Chartered College and author of ‘Parklands – A School Built on Love’
NICK HART - Nick Hart is the Executive Headteacher of Courthouse Junior School in Berkshire. Nick is a well-respected voice in education and many of you will have heard him talking at ResearchEd. Nick is also the organiser of ResearchEdBerk as well as running an influential blog is also a visiting fellow of Ambition Institute.
VICTORIA BAGNALL - Victoria is an expert in the field of executive functioning and has committed her life, to her “soul work”, of raising awareness about these critical brain functions and how genetics and trauma can influence their development. She is committed to helping society unpick its unconscious bias towards neurodiverse people and help people to understand that executive function challenges are part of being human, and never something to be punished. She is committed to co-creating a new social system in which everyone feels nurtured, supported and valued so that they can flourish.
REEMA REID - Reema has a track record of leading struggling schools to success and building a truly community focused education. She is acutely sensitive to the need for primary schools to cut across the social and cultural diversity of the city to provide an inclusive educational experience for all pupils. As headteacher, she has been at the forefront of tracking initiatives that have ensured that the school can respond to the challenges of a changing pupil demographic, and is driven by continuous school improvement.
She is a part of Southwark’s Teaching School Alliance focussing on coaching and mentoring ethnic minority teachers to take up leadership roles in their schools, and has empowered many BAME educators and pupils to follow in her footsteps.
PATRICK OTTLEY O'CONNOR - Patrick is the Executive Principal of North Liverpool Academy & the Northern Schools Trust. He has been a senior leader for 25+ years, including 15 years as a Principal/Executive Principal in secondary, primary and special schools
Patrick coaches many aspiring, new and experienced headteachers and CEOs, particularly those facing significant challenge both in the UK and internationally.
He leads and facilitates a variety of leadership programmes, including the NPQ programmes ranging from Middle to Executive Leadership courses. He is a DfE coach for the Women Leading in Education initiative. Patrick is also a Trustee of the Wardle Trust and founding Director of Collaborative Leadership Ltd.
HELEN WOODWARD - Helen is an independent consultant and advisor.
Her previous roles included Head of School Improvement at the DfE, Programme Leader for the NPQH at The University of Manchester and held lead roles in local authorities across the North West. Her leadership consultancy and coaching are sought after by school leaders in the UK and overseas.
More speakers will be announced on Friday.
