An Invitation to the Inspiring Leaders Conference - Early Bird Tickets Available.
When: Thursday 6th October 2022, 
Where: Sherwood Forest, Centre Parcs. 
Time: 9 am - 3:30 pm.
You are invited to our first ever Inspiring Leadership Conference, Centre Parcs, Sherwood Forest.
Tickets include refreshments, lunch, and the facilities of Centre Parcs after 5:30 pm. 
The purpose of the conference is to give inspiring people a platform to share their stories with you, in the knowledge that it will inspire you to continue to do great things.
There will be time to connect, to think, to plan, and to learn from others. All in an environment designed to inspire and enable you to create and plan together.

There is a new Education Minister: The Rt Hon James Cleverly MP
James Cleverly was appointed Secretary of State for Education on 7 July 2022.
He was previously appointed Minister of State (Minister for Europe and North America) in the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
The National Tutoring Programme has been updated:
8 July 2022: Removed information which is now available in the National Tutoring programme: guidance for schools 2022 to 2023. Information on this page for 2021 to 2022 is still relevant for schools organising tuition over the summer.
National pupil projections: trends in pupil numbers - July 2022
This statistical release provides national projections for the number of pupils in schools by type of school and age group.
National statistics announcement: Key stage 2 attainment (provisional)
Provisional results for the 2022 national curriculum assessments at key stage 2, including breakdowns at national and local authority level and by school and pupil characteristics.
Local authority interactive tool (LAIT): An interactive spreadsheet for comparing data about children and young people across all local authorities in England. (Updated version)
Updates from Ofsted:
Many children placed in homes far away from their families amid national sufficiency challenge
An Ofsted report published today suggests that there are too few suitable places to keep children in care close to home.
National statistics: Children’s social care data in England 2022
Inspection data and information about the providers and places of children’s social care in England as well as inspections and inspection outcomes.
