Christmas Campaign Ideas
Talk to your Email list. These are the people that know your business the best, fair chance that if they’ve bought from you for themselves, they’d be happy to buy from you for their friends & family. Unlayer have some great Xmas themed Email templates!
Setup A Free Shipping Promotion. We’re all guilty of getting to the checkout and seeing that it costs $10 for shipping & then not purchasing. You can, of course, make some adjustments to your pricing to recover the expenses of postage. Most people will overlook the slight increment in cost when they see “Free Shipping".
Optimise your Abandon Cart Emails. One cool thing about selling online is that you can get another chance of convincing people who left at the checkout to buy your products. Optimise these emails by adding product reviews, create a sense of urgency with “product is running out” messaging & add a time-sensitive discount ie, for the next 24 hours this product is X% off.
Get your website into the Christmas spirit. Spend some time giving your website a quick Xmas themed makeover. You can do it by maybe changing the colors of your site a little bit, adding Christmas decorations to your logo, changing product images and descriptions to fit the season mood. This may sway on the fence customers to convert.
Create Remarketing campaigns. If you aren’t familiar with the term remarketing, I’m sure that you’ve seen it in action. During the Christmas period, most online businesses will have extra competition. Develop a remarketing strategy & get people back to your website.
