Follow The Bear
🤨 With a title stolen from Marie Forleo’s best-seller, comes episode #111 of The Lonely Marketer podcast. I was delighted to be joined by the fantastic Amity Watts from Cubed Talent. Amity is somebody who we’ve threatened to have as a guest for a long time but for one reason or another, it simply didn’t happen.
But it was worth the wait. Delving into her experience of working agency side (marketing) and how it’s shaped her approach in the recruitment world, we talk about instilling a sense of marketing in everyone and she gives plenty of advice for people looking to move roles if they are currently thinking about it (like she has recently).
We also dive into her world as a working parent and how that affects her outlook, priorities and work. Great episode to be found on Apple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Podcasts and almost everywhere else.
Have a good week, welcome to October!

And we're done.
Sad news about Coolio passing away last week. Gangsta’s Paradise is one of those songs that pops into my head far more often than any other song…for no particular reason at all. Proper earworm.
Anyway, here’s to another great week and a good start to the final quarter of 2023 as they say in the recruitment world. Also, well done to any readers who completed the London marathon yesterday.
Have a good one.
