Fair Warning - New York, Inflation, and Bitcoin

Hello! It’s been a whole four weeks since the last issue! I’m still not promising much more since I only have a few weekends left here and I am comically busy all of the time.
Last weekend was a much-needed opportunity to switch off though. I spent it foraging and wild swimming and spending a ton of time outdoors in north Wales which is such a beautiful and underrated part of the world. It sounds ridiculous but I truly believe that you only realise just how many shades of green there in the world are when you’re travelling through Wales. I will miss it a lot.
To start, a couple of non-data but nevertheless very important investigations this week: WSJ’s Facebook Files, and BuzzFeed’s long-read on guardianships in the US.
