Hello hello! Well, there’s good news and bad news. The good news is I am back for this week; the bad news is that I am going to New Orleans next weekend for NICAR so there won’t be any Fair Warning for a couple of weeks. The news that could be good or bad is that this issue is reeeeeaaaally long. Sorry?
If you’re also going to NICAR, I pulled together this little Google Map of places that have been recommended to me or that I’m interested in. Let me know if it’s helpful or if you want to join me at any of them!
Sooo, what have I been up to? Well, this week I treated myself to THE BEST LEGGINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN. I know I’m prone to hyperbole but SERIOUSLY, LOOK. And if you ever wondered what I look like while I write FW, I’m currently sat in the coffee shop in my building dressed like a child.
I’ve also been working for the last few months on sorting out the data journalism school at Perugia this year and now the schedule is publicly available. SO EXCITED that we finally made it happen!!!
Non-data stuff that has caught my eye lately:
That was unusually long intro but there’s *loads* going on ATM - some of which I can’t even talk about yet - and it’s been a while :)

That’s everything for this week. I will be back after NICAR, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, so don’t miss me too much.
As ever, if you loved this issue, you can buy me a coffee, you can sign up to become a patron of Fair Warning, or you can start a Revue membership. Think there’s a button down there somewhere 👇
