The Design Tools Hackathon in Tel Aviv is a wrap 🇮🇱! I’m still buzzing with positivity from the vibe 😎 exciting demos 💻 inspiring talks 🎤 the new friends I made 👫 the weather ☀️ and the food 🥖

Draw some rectangles and turn it into a design using one keyboard shortcut. That’s exactly what Symbol Autocomplete for Sketch aims to do. You would ‘wireframe’ your design, and have the flexibility to turn it into high fidelity screen designs with the symbols you already created. You’d have to do it with this teaser for now!

🥈 → AnimatriX — Animations in Framer X

A hack to allow designers to easily create animations in Framer X without any coding required! This gets the user a little closer to the possibilities we had with Framer Classic, but then in a supercharged way with a bunch of custom exposed props in the properties panel.

🥉Sketchy Notes

🥉→ Sketchy Notes — Create and manage notes inside Sketch

If you collaborate on designs in Sketch a lot, you know the struggle of switching contexts and tools in order to provide or manage comments in the document. Not anymore! With Sketchy Notes you’ll have it all right inside Sketch. It provides a neat little UI creating a good overview of all the comments, allowing you to jump right to any of them, and also hide or delete a particular one, or all of them together. Ratio

A tool to my heart! Ratio equips digital designers with the same tools and concepts that developers use to implement complex design systems. Take creative control over typography, color, time and space by using variables, scales and functions. By appreciating the abstract and rationale, designers get the chance to explore more and worry less. Discovery instead of pixel pushing. It’s in closed alpha still. But keep an eye out on this one!

A very nice refresh of Typekit, which is now called Adobe Fonts. It has: No more sync limits + No more web font pageview limits + No more “web-only” fonts.
