HeyDayleWeekly #10 | Fresh Year Vibes 👌🏻

Ooh, shiny new layout! Seems appropriate. It helps to switch things up at the start of a new year, new month, or new week and it just so it happens, today is all three of these things! YAS. I hope you all had a lovely holiday season. I know in the states it’s straight chaos from November to January 1st and so you may be thinking. What now?

I’ll tell you what. We work. And play Paladins and work more, and drink instant coffee and make stuff and share it with people who dig what we do. Rinse & Repeat! 

I started this newsletter right around the time I started accepting VO work on Upwork. It was kind of new to me and I wasn’t even sure if I’d like it as much as I thought I would. And damn was I wrong. I absolutely love it! For my latest project, I got to re-write the script, re-edit the animated explainer video, AND lend my voice. I’ll be sharing the full video soon, but if you want to hear the VO bit I did for Baker’s Cousin, check out my Soundcloud!

You may know I’ve been working with The Voice Over Show, designing content for their social streams, but now that they’ve been posting regularly on their YouTube channel, I’ve developed a template for all their cover images. On their own, they look pretty nice, but all together as a full body of work is where I think they really shine. If you’re trying to maintain consistency on social, I highly recommend setting up a template for yourself in Canva or Photoshop. You’ll save time, and once your content starts to add up, you’ll have an awesome and damn good looking gallery of work to share. #YAS
