It doesn’t matter if you’re on the Blue Team or the Red Team.

We’re not in charge.
The corporations are.
And the corporations use the strategic outrage of the lunatics on the right to keep it that way.
It doesn’t matter, to a corporation, about a woman’s right to choose. You’re probably going to keep doing business with them all the same, no matter what crazy law gets passed.
Here’s One Thing Everyone Can Do About That
If you’re mad about the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe, there is something you can do about it.
If you use a commercial bank like Chase, close your account.
Walk, or drive, down to your local credit union. They’ll help you set up a new account.
But don’t stop there.
Close those accounts.
Take your money over to Vanguard.
If you’re over 40, put 60% of that money into VTSAX and 40% into VLBTX. If you’re under 40, put 100% of that money into VTSAX.
If enough people do this, the banks will freak out.
And then you’ll have their attention.
And not just their attention, but the attention of the politicians they control.
That’s how you get things done around here.
You hit the corporations in the wallet.
In big numbers. Over and over and over again.
Because in America, God isn’t in charge.
The money is.
And if you mess with the money, then things will change around here.
For the better.
