Alright. “The Richest Man in Babylon: Championship Edition” is rounding a corner. You should be able to purchase it in May. The book still needs to go through legal review, and it needs to be formatted properly, but we’re almost there.
The last thing I need to do is go through all the jokes that have been submitted, pick the ones I like, add them to the text, and then close out any remaining comments or issues.
(If you’re getting this email, I’m going to send you a free .pdf copy of the book as soon as it’s done. So YOU don’t need to buy it. But everyone else? Well, as the title of the Jean Shepard book once said, “In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash”.
GREAT book, by the way. If you’ve watched “A Christmas Story” every year on whatever channel still runs it as a marathon (it was TNT, but I don’t know if that’s still the case), a lot of the stories that shape that movie can be found in this book.
One other fun fact, and I’m only sharing it because I still don’t believe it’s true: There’s “A Christmas Story Part 2”. A real movie that exists.
And it’s awful. But it’s a thing that exists, and I had no idea that it did.
Now we can share this terrible knowledge together.
