Last week a friend of mine Ruth Penfold released an interview I had on her podcast Pancakes and Peacocks. I hate listening back to my voice but I did love that this interview was very different from the conversations I usually have. We explored the importance of habits, listening to the whisper of curiosity and some tools for figuring out what your superpowers are. Have a listen and let me know what you take away from the conversation. This newsletter includes an article on ‘68 Bits of unsolicited advice.’ Two of my favourites were: “Experience is overrated. When hiring, hire for aptitude, train for skills. Most really amazing or great things are done by people doing them for the first time.” “Being able to listen well is a superpower. While listening to someone you love keep asking them “Is there more?”, until there is no more.” Have a productive week!
