Your weekly newsletter on minorities in tech, venture and entrepreneurship 💫

The 3 things I was most grateful for last week were:
  1. Soul Food, hosted by a nonprofit organisation that trains students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) in venture capital and technology entrepreneurship in the US.
  2. My Webinar on staying profitable during COVID-19, which you can watch below.
  3. Having a really enjoyable week with family from planning my daughters birthday to having picnics all week!
During this time of crises, there are so many little things to be grateful for. Sometimes it is hard to see it but it is all around us.
One thing, I think we need to speak more about and be aware of is the very real and scary impact this crisis is having on mental health. From anxiety to depression, domestic violence, divorce and even suicidal thoughts. My friend Anthony Ware, and others are doing great work on that front to support people with tips, advice and spaces to have open and honest conversations.
Thank you and others doing great work to keep us mentally stable. There is an upcoming Webinar on Staying Mentally Resilient that you might enjoy.
Have a productive week!
