Last week, I was humbled, grateful and excited to host the Kick-off for The Angel Investing School’s inaugural cohort. However, I recognise how challenging a week it was for many given the adjustments to how we live throughout these unprecedented times.
Remain optimistic, crises usually breeds opportunity if you pay attention. It can be easy to get dragged down with all the negative news at the moment.
Loved this quote from Shane Parrish yesterday:
“What matters has sharply come into focus. Family matters. Love matters. Kindness matters. Health matters. Generosity matters. People matter. Community matters. The rest is just noise.”
I’ve personally noticed that news has heightened anxiety in so much society, which is why I am disconnecting from it and instead reconnecting with my community, my family, my priorities and myself.
