Akord Changelog | Arweave Integration

Arweave Integration
Last Thursday we presented Akord as one of the selected projects on the fourth Arweave Open Web Foundry, a 6-week programme helping builders using the Arweave stack. Needless to say it was a super busy summer for the whole team!
We had a few core objectives for the programme – move our data storage over to the Arweave network, send our crypto ledger and messaging to Arweave, provide a seamless fiat payment onramp using Stripe to top up storage within Akord, and launch our “1000 for 1000” marketing campaign. Oh, and prepare for a demo to 100 people from the Arweave network and some of the top investors in the crypto and web3 space!
The process had its tense moments, but we successfully launched the Arweave integration and achieved those core objectives. The first major milestone in decentralising Akord is now live :)
