AR/VR Weekly
Reading about VentureBeat reporter Jeremy Horwitz’s “good times” setting up a PC for virtual reality makes me so, so glad that the Oculus Link is on its way
Jeremy wrote about his recent experiences. Despite his PC more than meeting minimum specs, he figured he’d be better off upgrading the video card … until he discovered the new card we sent him didn’t fit the case.
It was a painful read.
I’m interested in checking out Asgard’s Wrath, the upcoming role-playing game from Sanzaru Games. It releases Thursday, and it gives up some serious “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” vibes. It looks like a huge, deep RPG, something that VR doesn’t have enough of yet. I’m looking forward to playing it.
Just not until the Oculus Link comes out in November and I can play it on my Quest instead of hauling out my Rift and rearranging my workspace for it.
