AR/VR Weekly
Many of you are likely reading this at home. I’m writing it from home (which isn’t unusual for me), but my family is here as well. We’re under our county’s shelter-in-place order to help fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus. And I imagine you are, too.
I’m going to keep this short. If you’re feeling cooped up, strapping on a headset and escaping to another world might sound like a good idea. But please, before you share it with any friends or family, be sure to sanitize it – the headset, the controllers, and anything else they may use after you touch it.
Please use this time to enjoy your time with your family, and if you’re home alone, please reach out to people. Use social apps like Microsoft’s AltspaceVR if you want to connect with people in VR. Play great games like Beat Saber, No Man’s Sky, or perennial favorite The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Watch shows and films with online friends with Netflix.
But most important: Wash your hands!
