Both are from an old book that blew me away, called “
Systemantics”
- Almost anything is easier to get into than out of (Agnes Allen’s Law)
- The very first principle of Systems design is a negative one: Do it without a new system if you can. The implications for Management are: (a) Do it with an existing system if you can, (b) Do it with a small system if you can.
Working on a design systems team, this makes my mind burst.
And systems are everywhere - so it applies to us all.
